Connecting people with each other to strengthen our community of faith.
At Lake Nokomis Lutheran, we make every effort to create a truly welcoming environment where people can build relationships with others and find a place of belonging in this community.
Sunday Fellowship: Following each worship service on Sunday mornings, you can enjoy coffee and goodies while you visit with friends new and old. To help provide this important ministry of hospitality, please contact Connect Team member, Ginny Rudloff.
Fellowship Events: Several times a year, the Connect Team helps organize events for children, youth, and adults to come together for fun and fellowship. Look for details in our monthly newsletter!
Nokomis Square cooperative worship and Communion most Third Mondays of the month: Deacon, Erica Larson, our Director of Visitation/parish nurse and often also a communion assistant go to Nokomis Square to serve communion and conduct a worship service for members and friends of Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church on the third Monday each month. (Please check our bulletins for exceptions.)
Over 80s Valentine's Day party: each year on a Sat. in February, we honor our members and their friends and family at a luncheon, worship service, and entertainment, to celebrate life and God's love for all people.
Simple Dinner: On Wednesday, for a small donation we provide a simple meal before our evening activities so that people can come together in fellowship, and families can participate comfortably in evening programs. (If you are interested, please connect with our Faith Formation Director, Erica Larson.)
