A THINKING PERSON'S GUIDE TO FAITH
Together we’ll ask, If God is good, does God really condemn people? Is there really a heaven or hell? Do we have to choose between science and faith? Why is it that some of the lessons and stories of the Bible don't seem like they make sense? Our world is full of suffering and need – why doesn't God cure cancer, or covid, or other forms of suffering? FAITH AND LIFE DISCUSSIONS
Wednesdays at 5 pm. - Starts January 17 Drawing on the rich wisdom of the Bible, Christian tradition, and our own experiences, we’ll look at faith and doubt with honesty and insight. Our goal will be to discover a trust that is not afraid of hard questions and an appreciation for wonder and mystery above simple answers. |
