Our sanctuary and wheelchair accessible restrooms are on the main floor of the church. An elevator serving all levels of the church and education wing is located in the hallway between the sanctuary and education wing.

Our choral groups include choirs for children and adults. If you’d like more information, contact Jodi Gustafson, our Director of Music at [email protected].

Faith and Life Conversation (September through Memorial Day)
On most Sundays at 9:10 a.m. in the Bethel Room on the lower level, we invite folks to gather for a conversation on a timely topic. Please look for more information in the bulletin, newsletter and on our website.
Financial offerings
Financial giving is a part of our stewardship. It’s part of our response to what God has given us. You will receive offering envelopes with your new membership material. Or, give online today. If you have questions about your financial giving, please check with Joanne Billmeier, our Financial Administrator.
First aid
First aid kits are available in the coatroom next to the narthex, the church office workroom, and the main kitchen on the lower level. If you experience a medical problem during a worship service, contact an usher immediately.
Food shelf donations
We partner with our neighborhood food shelf, which operates out of Minnehaha United Methodist Church. You’re invited to bring donations of food and/or money to support this important ministry.
Funerals
When you experience a death in your family, please contact the office, our visitation or senior pastor as soon as possible so that they may be of assistance.
If you’d like to assist with serving meals following funerals, please contact the church office.
Health needs
Our parish nurse, Barb Tauferner, along with other members of our health cabinet, keep in contact with people who are dealing with health issues. Please call the church office if you’d like to be contacted by someone on our health ministry team.
Library
Our library is located on the south side of the main building, adjacent to Keewaydin Avenue. Numerous books and periodicals for both adults and children may be checked out. For more information, please contact Carol Ivens at (612) 727-3982.
Loaves and Fishes
On months having a fifth Monday, we cook and serve a meal at a Loaves and Fishes site, St. Stephen’s Catholic School. If you’d like to be a part of this ministry, please contact Diane Slovik at (952) 893-1228.
Meals on Wheels
Every nine weeks, we deliver Meals on Wheels in south Minneapolis. If you’d like to assist, please contact the church office.
Nursery
A nursery is available on most Sunday mornings during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. It is located next to the family room behind the church office.
Prayer chain
If you know anyone who needs pastoral care (anyone sick, grieving, needing comfort or spiritual direction), please contact our church office. We also have a confidential Prayer Chain. To activate the prayer chain, please call Kathy Schou at (701)260-8091.
Worship assistants
If you’d like to serve as a lector, usher, communion assistant, van driver, altar guild member or greeter, please contact Sue Hamre in the church office at (612) 729-2323, and she'll be glad to help you get plugged in to those areas of ministry.

If you have questions about Sunday school or other education programs, please contact Erica Larson at (612) 729-2323. Erica is available in the afternoons on Monday through Thursday and on Sunday mornings.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is offered each summer for a week during the evening.
Weddings
Weddings are scheduled through the church office, (612) 729-2323. Becky Dowzak serves as our wedding coordinator.
Worship
Sunday worship is at 8 and 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary between September and the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Education for all ages is offered between services at 9:15 a.m. Summer worship is at 9:30 a.m.
Youth ministry
If you’d like information on our youth programs, please contact Erica Larson, our Director of Faith Formation at [email protected]. In addition to Sunday school, we offer faith formation and education opportunities through Confirmation, The Deep End, CLASH (Christ Loves All Senior High) TIM (Teens in Ministry) Team, Bible camp and mission trips. We also seek to involve our youth in the whole life of the congregation through involvement in worship, leadership roles, servant events and intergenerational opportunities.
